Welcome to CanaryScope. By using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. The Service
CanaryScope monitors AI platform policy pages (including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Cohere, Mistral, AWS Bedrock, and Azure OpenAI) and sends you email alerts when we detect changes that may affect your applications.
The Service includes:
- Automated monitoring of AI platform policies
- AI-powered interpretation of policy changes
- Email alerts for detected changes
- Weekly digest emails
- A web dashboard to manage your preferences
2. Your Account
To use CanaryScope, you must:
- Provide a valid email address
- Be at least 18 years old
- Maintain the security of your account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Subscription and Payment
CanaryScope is a paid subscription service:
- Subscriptions are billed monthly
- Payment is processed securely through Stripe
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- We do not offer refunds for partial months
4. Founding Member Pricing
If you subscribed during our early access period at the founding member rate, that rate is locked for the duration of your continuous subscription. If you cancel and later resubscribe, you will be charged the then-current price.
5. What We Promise
We will:
- Monitor the AI platforms listed on our website
- Send you alerts when we detect policy changes
- Provide AI-powered interpretations of what changes mean
- Keep your data secure
6. What We Don't Promise
CanaryScope is provided "as is." We do not guarantee:
- That we will catch every policy change
- That our AI interpretations will be 100% accurate
- That the service will be available 100% of the time
- That our alerts will prevent all issues with your applications
You should always verify important information directly with the AI platforms themselves. CanaryScope is a monitoring tool, not a replacement for your own due diligence.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CanaryScope and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials with others
- Attempt to reverse engineer or extract data from our systems
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with the operation of the Service
9. Intellectual Property
The CanaryScope name, logo, and all associated content are our property. You may not use our branding without permission.
The policy changes we monitor are the property of their respective AI platforms. We provide interpretations and summaries for informational purposes.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing settings.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
